The teaching of English for Science and Technology students in freshman year is of great importance. The syllabus of English 01 acquaints the learner with the type of English which is relevant to his field of study. The course is divided into a set of learning units which focus on verb tenses, parts of speech and types of sentences.

This course aims to: (1) Develop the reading, writing, listening and speaking abilities of the students. (2) Acquaint students with technical and scientific grammar and vocabulary.
