This course focuses on developing scientific English proficiency intended for second-year chemistry students. It covers essential language skills necessary for effective communication in the field, including reading comprehension and understanding specialized terminology. The course includes twelve lessons in total both in grammar (simple tenses, continuous tenses, etc.), and in terminology (atoms, ions, and isotopes, states of matter, classification of matter, classes of compounds, etc.). Through a series of interactive exercises and practical assignments, students will enhance their ability to interpret scientific literature and communicate scientific concepts with clarity and precision. This course is designed to equip students with the linguistic tools needed to succeed in their academic and professional endeavors in chemistry.
